My experience on a mission trip

When we hear about mission trips the great commission and the task of evangelization comes to mind, for me, Culiacan Project was more than that. The first time I participated the Lord first showed me the condition of my heart, when we set out to serve the Lord we are the first to be transformed by His grace; at the same time that He worked in me He allowed me to serve Him and others. In this Project I have seen miracles of salvation, forgiveness and healing in the agricultural fields as I have shared the Good News with the people of the ethnic groups of Mexico; I have also met great friends and each year God continues to work with my character as we work as a team for His work.

Certainly Proyecto Culiacan is not the only place where God manifests Himself, however, it is a good opportunity to get to know more of the God we worship and make Him known to others in their own language.

Come and participate in #ProyectoCuliacán2025 Four weeks to sow the gospel in the Etnias of Mexico. Minimum participation time: 2 weeks. Ask for more information.

It is hard to know where to begin to describe my experience at Proyecto Culiacan. I think the other participants in the project were the most impactful to me. Yes, I was there to serve others, but seeing the sincere love for God among the members has left me with a lasting impression of what brotherly love and sincere faith is all about.

1 Timothy 1:5 says, "For the purpose of this commandment is love out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned." The people involved in this project have a deep love for God and for others. It is only by the grace of Christ that we can make an impact on migrant farm workers for Jesus.

By God's grace I will return to the Culiacan Project next January. This was the highlight of #ProjectCuliacan2018 for me and I have no doubt that God will continue to work through His word and His people in this next project. Please pray for all of us involved. And if you are thinking about participating don't hesitate, I encourage you to do all you can to come.

Because God has called us to be light and salt. Come and participate in #ProjectCuliacan2025 from January 2 to February 7.

Your encouragement is valuable to us
